RAPID is located at 2990 Midway Drive, Suite A, San Diego, CA 92110, in the Midway / Sports Arena area, just minutes from Point Loma, Ocean Beach, Mission Bay, and Liberty Station.

Six dedicated parking spots will be reserved for RAPID members, plus additional unreserved parking available in the shared lot. The location is convenient and easily accessible for most San Diego residents.

Our current plan is to offer extended hours that work well for both early risers and people who prefer evenings after work. This will likely include morning sessions, afternoon slots, and evening hours most days of the week.

We want to make it convenient for members to build a consistent weekly practice without feeling rushed.

We’ll share the final schedule with everyone on the Founders Priority List as soon as it’s confirmed, well before we officially open.

Most visits to RAPID will last between 30 and 90 minutes.

Many people find that 35–60 minutes is ideal. Some members prefer shorter 30-minute sessions, while others prefer longer sessions and multiple rounds.

Because the experience is completely self-paced, you can stay as long as you like and leave whenever you feel ready. There’s no rush and no fixed schedule to follow.

A proper swimsuit or bathing suit is required at all times (No regular underwear, street clothes, or nudity allowed).

When we open, a visit to RAPID will feel calm, intentional, and highly effective, a true contrast therapy designed exclusively for Sauna and Cold Plunge.

You’ll enter a serene, modern space. Everything is self-paced with no pressure.

A typical session flows like this: You move between our traditional Finnish sauna with high heat up to 195°F, exceptional rapid hot air movement for breathable and even warmth while remaining challenging, and our precision cold plunge system.

Our cold plunges are unique: multiple individual plunges with different temperatures and adjustable rapid water movement (convection cooling). This allows effective cooling without extreme cold, making the experience far more approachable and customizable for both beginners and advanced users.

Between rounds, you’ll rest in our quiet lounge area. Most visits last 30–90 minutes, and you stay as long as you like.

Yes, RAPID is very beginner-friendly and specifically designed to be approachable for people trying contrast therapy for the first time.

• In the sauna, there’s a lower bench with milder heat so you can start gently and gradually move to the hotter upper benches.
• In the cold plunge, we offer multiple individual plunges with different temperatures and adjustable water flow speeds. Instead of extreme cold, we use rapid water movement to cool the body effectively and you can choose based on your personal preference that day.

You can go at your own pace, do as many or as few rounds as you like, and build comfort over time. Everything is self-paced with no pressure to push limits.

You bring:

• A proper swimsuit or bathing suit is required at all times (No regular underwear, street clothes, or nudity allowed).

• Two fresh towels, one for the sauna and one for drying
• A water and tea station

Everything else will be taken care of on-site.

Our entire facility is designed around the sauna cold plunge combo, focusing on one powerful sequence: heat → cold → rest. This focused approach, refined over thousands of years in Finland and supported by modern science, consistently provides deeper stress relief, better recovery, clearer thinking, and long-term resilience.

We want every visit to feel intentional, calm, and highly effective, not busy or scattered. Less is more when it comes to real physiological benefits.

Our sauna is built as a true traditional Finnish sauna, not a typical low-heat or infrared version.

• High temperatures ranging from 160–195°F (70–90°C) with excellent airflow and even heat distribution
• High-quality wood construction designed for proper heat retention and comfort
• Spacious layout that allows for relaxed, full-length sessions
• The traditional Aufguss ritual, where a trained attendant adds water and essential oils to the stones and circulates the heat with a towel, creating intense, aromatic bursts of steam and heat

This combination delivers the real Finnish sauna experience: deep, penetrating heat, proper ventilation, and the ceremonial feel that has been practiced for generations in Finland.

Our cold plunge will typically be kept between 39°F and 55°F, with different temperature options available.

We focus on rapid water movement and circulation rather than making the water extremely cold. This approach delivers strong physiological benefits while feeling more supportive and less shocking, especially for beginners.

You’ll be able to choose a temperature that feels right for you on any given day, and we’ll have clear guidance to help you ease into it safely.

Yes, occasional visits will be available.

Once we open, we plan to offer single-day passes and multi-session packages in addition to memberships. This will allow people to visit occasionally without committing to a full membership.

However, priority access and the best rates will go to Founding Members.

Yes, while sauna and cold plunge contrast therapy is safe and beneficial for most healthy adults, there are some important health precautions to consider.

• Heart disease, high blood pressure, or any cardiovascular issues
• Pregnancy
• Recent injuries or surgeries
• Raynaud’s disease or cold intolerance
• Epilepsy or seizure disorders
• Any other serious medical conditions

Our team will also be on-site to guide you and answer any questions. Safety is extremely important to us.
