My Journey
 

In my teenage years, I was a youth professional athlete in Germany. Later, I spent nearly a decade as a high-stakes poker player, traveling worldwide to compete in tournaments. Over the last couple of years, I have been an entrepreneur in the yacht and real estate business. Throughout these ventures, discipline, physical endurance, and mental tenacity were essential. The focus on "getting better at things" shaped my mindset early on, driving me to explore different avenues for high performance. My desire for self-improvement carried me through a journey that demanded focus, strategic thinking, and emotional resilience to maintain a competitive edge.
 

Inspiration from Germany
 

Growing up in Germany, I was accustomed to “sauna paradises” places where people gather with friends and loved ones to spend quality time while enhancing their health and well-being. When I moved to San Diego, I was surprised by the lack of standalone facilities offering dedicated contrast-therapy experiences. While some gyms provided basic sauna access, it wasn’t the same as having an intentionally designed space focused solely on relaxation and health.

A sleek facility in the city’s heart, dedicated entirely to offering the finest sauna and cold-plunge experience for peak relaxation and health benefits. I’ve always believed that true performance and well-being come not just from effort and discipline, but from intentional rest and recovery.

My Early Years

Growing up in San Diego, saunas weren’t part of my world. I spent years building a career as a rare coin dealer, working long hours and focusing on business success. But that relentless pace took a toll, weight gain and burnout crept in, a wake-up call that I wasn’t taking care of myself.
 

Discovering Saunas and Cold Plunges
 

Soon after meeting my co-founder Max, we began hanging out in his backyard, enjoying the sauna and cold plunge. Those sessions turned into regular meetups where we’d relax and catch up. I came to cherish those moments, it felt healthy, grounding, and truly refreshing. I saw how unique this is and realized it was something others would want and need in their lives too.

Designing Something New
 

I dove into the science of contrast therapy with an engineer’s mindset. I studied every detail—design, materials, heat, and cooling efficiency—determined to create the best sauna and cold-plunge experience. After countless conversations with manufacturers, I realized none could deliver the precision, comfort, and health benefits I envisioned. So, I took matters into my own hands, custom-designing every component to blend performance with relaxation, ensuring our community will feel the difference. 
 

 

Finding a Better Way

Now, as someone who’s passionate about jiu-jitsu and committed to wellness, I’ve moved away from a routine dominated by work, focusing instead on habits that bring balance and clarity. This journey inspired me to create a wellness space in San Diego with saunas and cold plunges—a place where others can find the same sense of renewal I’ve discovered.

Bringing It to San Diego

Today, it’s finally time to introduce this enriching concept to  my hometown in San Diego. I invite you to step into our facility, experience the warmth of the sauna and the energizing of the cold plunge, and discover how these practices can revitalize both body and mind. This is about creating a spot where you can pause, connect, and leave feeling better than when you arrived.
